About Us

My name is Meagan Reger and I am a Professional Dog Trainer servicing the WNY area. With over 10 years of experience, I officially opened Canine Caliber in 2020 with the goal of teaching pet owners how to enjoy life with their dogs!

I began training dogs because I myself had a dog with behavioral issues. My rescue dog Riley was extremely dog reactive, a resource guarder, starting fights with our other dog, had difficulties with grooming, the list goes on... I found that through building a better relationship with her, she was able to thrive and live a life I never would have thought was possible. 

 

I am a Certified AKC Caning Good Citizen evaluator and a true believer that you are never done learning! I often attend Seminars, Webinars and Workshops to further my own skills in this ever changing industry. Bringing you the most up to date techniques and skills to help you and your dog succeed.

I have been traveling and competing in dog sports with my personal dogs for over 10 years. I began with Riley competing in Scent Work, and eventually expanded into other sports ranging from, competitive obedience, personal protection, dock diving, etc.
